Step 1: Cover letter & written CV
Input materials:
- Worksheet with instructions: Module 1-Task 1-Real-Life Task 1
- Individual ads Ss found at beginning of module
- Hypertext “Preparing job materials: Reading job ads”

Procedure:
OUT-OF-CLASS
- Ss work with the ad corresponding to their job area they found in Activity 1
- Ss extract relevant information from the ad with the help of the hypertext guidelines
- Ss produce an effective written CV for this job ad based on guidelines discussed in class (upload on platform)
- Ss produce an effective cover letter relating to job ad and their CV based on guidelines discussed in class (upload on platform)
- Ss hand in their CVs and cover letter, receive feedback from T
Estimated timing: 120 min (out-of-class)
Step 2: video CV (+ online, + game element)
Input materials:
- Worksheet with instructions Module 1-Task 1-Real-Life Task 1
- Individual ads Ss found at beginning of module

Procedure:
OUT-OF-CLASS
- Ss go through video CV guidelines
- Ss produce their own video CD based on job ad they found
- Ss upload job ad & video CV on elearning platform
- All Ss vote online on most convincing/creative/effective video CV (select 3, 3-2-1 pts)
IN CLASS
- Best 3 videos are played and discussed in class (3-2-1)
Estimated timing: 150 min out-of-class + 30 min in-class
